Department Head Meeting
Set up an informal meeting with your Department Head to share your intent to host an event.
Complete the Conference Sponsorship Request Form
Submit completed form to PPPL Travel & Conference Compliance Team for development of a cost estimate and recommendation of a registration fee distinguishing between allowable and unallowable costs.
Approval Decision Tree
Your request must be approved by varying levels of management before an event can be hosted. Refer to the Guidelines for Conference Approvals for assistance in reviewing and approving a PPPL sponsored conference. Below is the line of review and approval:
- PPPL Travel & Conference Compliance Team
- Planning & Control (P&C) Division
- Department Head
- Director's Office
